I feel too overwhelmed and unmotivated to create content. How do I get started?

Create momentum in another area of your life first. The energy and flow required for effective content creation don’t have to start with the content itself; you can generate that feeling elsewhere and then channel it into your work. This principle is a powerful sutra for achieving consistency: momentum creates momentum.

For example, one of my clients was feeling stressed and unable to get into the recording process. But after participating in a fun group exercise that felt like talking to friends, his entire mental state shifted. He suddenly felt comfortable and natural on camera, even if the content wasn’t perfect. The exercise created a feeling of flow, and that feeling is what mattered most.

Think of it like pushing a heavy truck. The initial push requires a massive amount of energy to overcome inertia. But once it starts rolling, it takes far less energy to keep it moving. When you feel stuck, you’re at a standstill. The goal isn’t to force the perfect content idea; it’s to find a small, easy way to get moving in any area of your life to create that initial push.

Action Step: Before your next creation session, do something for 15 minutes that gets you into a positive state of flow. It could be dancing to your favorite song, going for a quick walk, or having a fun conversation. As soon as you feel that shift in energy, sit down and start creating your content.

You don’t need to wait for motivation to find you. You have the power to generate it on your own terms.
